Register now: LOAF Scotland explores legal operations and admin trends

July 08, 2024

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been postponed. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

We are delighted to invite you to the Scotland edition of our Legal Operations and Administration Forum (LOAF), where we’ll examine the latest trends in legal operations and administration.

Legal Operations and Administration Trends 2024-2025

VENUE: Thorntons, Citypoint, 3rd Floor, 65 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD

DATE: Thursday 5th September

TIME: 16:00 – 18:00 (with networking drinks and canapes after the event)

Now into its third year, LOAF brings together a community of law firm leaders and managers who are engaged in the fast-moving and interconnected areas of the legal ecosystem — the workplace, smart buildings, operations, legal support, document lifecycle, back office processes and the technology that enables it all.  The 2020s have seen these areas become more strategic and more critical for firms, as we respond to hybrid working, digitization, spiraling inflation, the focus on ‘Purpose,’ ESG, and AI, all at the same time. LOAF is dedicated to exploring and sharing what is happening now and next.

For the first time we are taking the live LOAF experience out of London and heading north to Scotland.  We will be in Edinburgh on Thursday 5th September 2024, kindly hosted by our friends at Thorntons. If you work in a law firm in any management or leadership role that engages with the themes above, from COOs to senior managers in Facilities, IT, HR, Transformation and beyond, you are welcome and invited.

For this event we have pulled together the threads, insights, and highlights from our programs and research to create a comprehensive overview of Legal Operations and Administration Trends 2024-2025. We will cover workplace, people, technology, and financial trends.

Hear from our panel of experts:

  • Sarah Blair, Director of Technology and Transformation at Thorntons
  • Mike PolsonExecutive Coach and former Managing Director at Ashurst
  • Becky Turner, Workplace Psychologist at the UK’s leading Workplace Design & Build Agency, Claremont
  • Simon Campion, Director and Legal Sector Lead, Claremont
  • Denise Reid, Managing Director, Growth at Williams Lea

Discussions will be moderated by legal strategy and operations consultant Chris Bull, from Edge International.

Whether you are based in Edinburgh, elsewhere in Scotland, or you’re a LOAF regular from south of the border please do join us. Register now.
